Brad Pitt’s Had His Eye On Margot Robbie ‘For Years’: His ‘Crush’ Drove Angelina Jolie Away
The Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie divorce plot thickens! We hear that Angie wasn’t happy that Margot Robbie had a cameo in Brad’s film ‘The Big Short’ — he apparently went as far as to go behind his wife’s back to cast Margot, and has always crushed on the Aussie actress. Could this be one of the reasons that Angie filed for divorce?
On the heels of a Nov. 17 report that claims Brad Pitt, 52, is looking to move on from Angelina Jolie, 41, with Australian bombshell Margot Robbie, 26, a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that this might not be too far off the mark! “Brad has had his eye on Margot for years.” the insider reveals. “He jumped at the chance to squeeze her into the role she has in The Big Short so that he could spend time with her.”

“He wanted to work with Margot, the actress for whom he had a bit of a crush on at the time,” the source adds, “And he still does.” Whoa!

As one would imagine, this didn’t make Angelina happy, the insider also tells us. “Even though she tried her best, Angelina couldn’t block Brad from working with Margot,” the source explains. “Brad went behind Angelina’s back and used his Hollywood connections to get Margot a short cameo on the film.” Yikes.
