Ingrid Michaelson just played two amazing back-to-back shows in New York City, but she’s not taking a breath! The indie queen dropped her music video for ‘Still the One’ today, Nov. 18, and it’s exactly what we need right now. Check out the delightful, poppy video right here!
Ingrid Michaelson, 36, joked with her audience at her second show at the Beacon Theatre in NYC on Nov. 17 that she hates being “as old as the mom in Home Alone“, but her energy and charm are as youthful as ever — and it comes across in the new video for her sweet single “Still the One”, off her latest album It Doesn’t Have To Make Sense. Watch it above!
It was an undeniable pleasure, as always, to see Ingrid woo her hometown crowd last night. It was my third Ingrid show, and I never tire of it. She played classics like “Be OK” and “You & I”, but nothing brought the crowd to their feet like “Girls Chase Boys”, the hit that Ingrid is arguably defined by these days. Look, it’s all good!
The chorus from “Still the One” (We dance in the living room and/We move to the beating of our blood/You are the one, I am the two/I’m still the one that’s in love with you) showcases that trademark Ingrid quaintness, and us fans can never get enough of that.

The only disappointment on Ingrid’s new album is the lack of sweater mentions — is it even an Ingrid song if she doesn’t bring up a sweater?! We still love her, though.
You can catch Ingrid on tour here, and she has just five dates left, so don’t sleep on it!
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of the video for “Still the One”?
