The ‘Teen Wolf’ opening credits are going to look a little different in the final season. The credits feature several new faces, including some of the show’s most notorious villains. Click to WATCH!
Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby), Melissa McCall (Melissa Ponzio), and Chris Argent (JR Bourne) have all been added to the Teen Wolf opening credits after 6 seasons, while Kira (Arden Cho) has been taken out. The three of them have been an integral part of the show since the very beginning, so it’s good to see these parents joining the opening credits alongside Scott (Tyler Posey), Stiles (Dylan O’Brien), Lydia (Holland Roden), Liam (Dylan Sprayberry), and Malia (Shelley Hennig).
The title sequence also features footage from past seasons. Since season 6 will be the show’s last, it’s not surprising that the opening credits are adding a little bit of nostalgia. The villains also get a chance to shine in the new credits. One of the Ghost Riders is seen shooting one of his guns, the Nazi werewolf is escapes from his tank, and The Beast and The Dread Doctors make a brief appearance.
Teen Wolf’s final season is going to be all about memory and loss. Stiles is going to be taken away by the Ghost Riders, virtually erasing him from everyone’s memory. Get your tissues ready. Before he’s taken, Stiles is able to finally tell Lydia that he loves her. After 6 seasons of waiting, this #Stydia moment is a dream come true. Hopefully, those three words will help her remember him. Teen Wolf season 6 premieres Nov. 15 at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
