The shooting prompted an immediate lockdown of the airport and surrounding area, and a heavily-armed SWAT team was brought in to search for the suspect. There were also reports that a “sniper’s nest” had been found inside the airport parking garage, according to KFOR, though that has yet to be confirmed by authorities.
