Billy Bob Thornton Confesses He’d Love To Work With Brad Pitt After Angelina Divorce

Well, this would be pretty…awkward. Billy Bob Thornton clearly has no problem working with someone who’s also been married to his ex — because he says he wants to team up with Brad Pitt for a film! Find out his reasoning right here.

Now that Brad Pitt, 52, and Angelina Jolie, 41, are going through a divorce, another one of the actress’ ex-husbands, Billy Bob Thornton, 61, wants to join forces with the actor. “This might surprise people, but I’d love to do a movie with Brad Pitt,” Billy Bob tells Playboy. “I think we’d be great together. We’d play a couple of Southern guys.”

Billy Bob clearly doesn’t feel threatened or have any beef with Brad, and that probably stems from the fact that he’s stayed so close with Angie even after they split in 2003. “Angie and I are still friends,” he adds. “That won’t ever go away. We don’t talk on a regular basis; sometimes I won’t see her for five years. But I offer. I know she’s been through a lot. She’s a great person. And she’s one of the people who didn’t abandon me. She never has.”

No plans have been confirmed for Brad and Billy Bob to actually work together, but they’d obviously have a LOT in common to talk about if they ever do. Unfortunately, the 61-year-old may have to wait some time before he gets what he wants — Brad has two huge movies coming out in 2017. Plus, he has his divorce and custody case with Angelina that will be looming for an unknown amount of time, so work might have to be put on the back burner for a little bit. Looks like we’ll have to wait and see!
