Melania Trump matched her husband, Donald, in her Republican red dress for his ’60 Minutes’ special — and you can see her sleek and chic ensemble right here! Did you love her dress?
Melania Trump, 46, opted for a bold red ensemble as she appeared alongside her husband, Donald Trump, in a 60 Minutes special that aired on Nov. 13. She looked supportive as she matched her dress to Donald’s red tie, a nod to the color of the Republican party, for the occasion. She paired the frock with her signature blowout and a pair of patent-leather nude Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps and was all smiles as she sat by his side. Lesley Stahl hosted the CBS special which was taped inside Donald’s penthouse in NYC’s Trump Tower.
While on the campaign trail and appearing at the debates, Melania rocked a slew of international designers — in fact, it wasn’t until election night that she finally showed off an ensemble from an American designer as she wore a white Ralph Lauren jumpsuit. As she takes on the role of first lady, her fashion choices will be in the spotlight even more. “I will stay true to myself,” Melania said regarding the role.
Melania & Ivanka Trump’s Fashion Moments On The Campaign Trail
The appearance marked Donald’s first televised interview as the president-elect and we weren’t surprised to see his children and wife by his side for the momentous occasion. Although Melania matched her husband for the interview, Donald’s oldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, opted for a nude dress while her half-sister, Tiffany Trump, looked sleek in a black mini. Ivanka opened up about how it felt for the Trump family on election night. “‘It is hard to put into words the experience or the emotion when your father becomes president of the United States of America. We had enormous pride, joy. It’s incredibly exciting,” she said during the special.
