Gigi Hadid ‘bares it all,’ declares the December 2016 issue of ‘Allure’ magazine. The supermodel rocked wild curls and blue eyeshadow on the cover! See her $4 beauty must-have below!
Gigi Hadid shared the photo on her Instagram on November 14, writing: “I’m so excited to share my December cover of @allure !!!!!!! Always a fun & inspiring day shooting with @patrickdemarchelier (& forever surreal) 💕💕💕 To @ninjarosworld: since my first casting at Allure as a 17 year old, you have shown me such genuine warmth.. I will never forget that. Thank you for this opportunity. All my love to you & the whole team behind this cover !!!!!!!!!!”
Her beauty has a ’70s quality, with blue eyeshadow, and big, wild curls. She’s baring her back, holding an unzipped dress against her chest.
Her hair was done by stylist Rudi Lewis. Her gorgeous makeup was done by Sally Branca and her manicure by Megumi Yamamoto.
Gigi is constantly in the makeup chair, in the hands of professionals, so when she isn’t working, she tells the magazine she doesn’t wear much makeup at all — just a nude lipstick, maybe.
For her glowing skin, she uses St. Ives Apricot scrub, which has been a fan favorite for years. “It’s been around [that long] because it’s the best!”
Of fame and the criticism that comes with it, Gigi says: “I always want to prove myself and to let people know I’m a good person. A lot of people don’t realize they’re typing this stuff, and that’s a lot of negative energy — regardless of whether we see it or not. People just don’t realize the power of their judgment.”
