Jesse Metcalfe and longtime girlfriend Cara Santana are SO in love! The John Tucker Must Die star debuted a pic from the couple’s engagement photo shoot on Nov. 12, and we are still gushing over it!
In the beautiful photo, Jesse and Cara are captured mid-smooch, standing aboard a large boat. Their kiss seriously is giving us The Notebook vibes — minus all of the rain, of course! And ahead of them is the Statue of Liberty in front of the most perfect sunset. Wow, this picture looks like it came out a of fairytale! “Woot woot! We are SO excited to celebrate our engagement with our family and friends this evening,” Jesse captioned the pic on his Instagram account. SO adorable!

The Desperate Housewives alum and Cara announced their engagement back in Aug. 2016. When fans first learned of the happy news, Cara also revealed her 5.5-carat engagement ring with an emerald cut diamond. Bling, bling! “I wouldn’t say it was love at first sight,” Jesse initially told Your Tango of meeting Cara for the first time. “It was more of a slow burn, which I think is a better start for a relationship. I think if it comes on fast and furious, it generally fizzles out just as fast. We were slow and steady.” Jesse is so right; slow and steady ALWAYS wins the race!

It’s a little unclear when the two are planning to officially tie the knot, but for now, they couldn’t be any happier together! And we couldn’t be any more excited for the both of them! These two are perfect for each other! As the days inch by, we will be really anxious to see what they have planned for their wedding. By the looks of the engagement ring and photo shoot, we’re positive it’s going to be absolutely amazing!
