Victoria Justice flawlessly pulled off our favorite goth-glam beauty look for fall. The actress combined a sleek high ponytail with a dark purple lipstick and flirty lashes for a stunning combo we need to copy right now. Find out how to copy her exact lip color, ahead.
Victoria Justice showed us all that a winter beauty look is anything but boring while attending the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s celebration for the 2017 Golden Globe Award season. The 23-year-old, who usually sports an effortless California girl vibe, switched things up with her all-black ensemble and coordinating beauty look.
Usually wearing her long brunette hair down loose and straight, Victoria opted for a slicked back updo for the HFPA event. Keeping her sleek and shiny style, Victoria’s ponytail was the perfect way to show off the real star of the show here — her vampy lip.
Victoria’s go-to makeup artist Lusine Galadjian was behind the gorgeous bold look, and she shared the whole how-to on her Instagram. To start, Lusine perfected Victoria’s skin by applying the Make Up For Ever Mattifying Primer and Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation. After adding extra coverage with concealer where needed, Lusine applied a natural contour and highlight to Victoria’s cheekbones with Laura Mercier Candleglow Sheer Perfecting Powder in Medium to Deep for the contour and Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder in Highlight 01 for a soft highlight along the high points of her face.
For Victoria’s dramatic lashes, Lusine first applied individual false lashes from Ardell and added even more volume with Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara. For the final and most important step, Lusine used NARS Audacious Lipstick in Liv, the perfect deep aubergine color to complete the look. To make sure the lip really lasts all day, start by prepping with an exfoliating lip scrub and your favorite lip balm. Then, line and fill your lips with a lip pencil in a similar color (NARS makes a Velvet Lip Liner in Lanikai, a burgundy color) before applying your lipstick.
