It’s no secret that Taylor Swift’s working on a followup to her mega-successful ‘1989,’ but a new report now claims she’s writing songs about exes Tom Hiddleston and Calvin Harris. So will they be revenge anthems? We’ve got all the scoop here!
Taylor Swift is famous for her breakup tracks, but her sixth studio album may steer clear of any scathing revenge songs. Instead, Taylor’s songs, which will definitely be about her past relationships with Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston, according to a new report, will be more positive than anything else.
“[Taylor] has spoken to Adam on text,” a source told E! News, adding that their conversations are less about “getting back together” and “more of a friendly check-in.” The source added, “She also is on good terms with Tom at this point.”
Of course, there’s always a chance the songs won’t actually make the final cut, but we hope they do! We’d love to hear Taylor’s side of the story on everything. As we previously told you, Taylor and Tom broke up in September after a few months of dating. Before that, she dated Calvin Harris for a year and a half. They split in June 2016.
Other than that, we don’t know a ton about her next album except for the fact that she’s been working with Drake! “Drake and Taylor do not want to do a diss track on Kanye [West] or any of their exes,” a source previously told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “They have been enjoying the early planning stages of collaborating on a track and the one thing they have already discussed and joked about is that they want the song to be fun and positive without going after anyone.”
