Michelle Obama just saved her best cover photo for last! The First Lady looks absolutely stunning on the December cover of ‘Vogue,’ wearing a barely-there makeup look and volumized blowout. Click ahead to get all the details on Michelle’s cover, and see what her makeup artist had to say about the look.
After eight years as our fashionable first lady, Michelle Obama, 52, is saying goodbye to the White House. President Obama‘s wife posed for her third Vogue cover in an elegant cream-colored sleeveless dress by Carolina Herrera, with the ethereal hair and makeup to match.
Turning to her usual hair and makeup team that have helped her prepare for countless state dinners and magazine covers over the years, Michelle’s hair was done by Johnny Wright and her makeup by Carl Ray. For her last Vogue cover as first lady, Johnny gave Michelle a volumized blowout with loose waves that he parted off to the side and brushed back away from her face.
For her makeup, Carl created an equally gorgeous look that centered around glowing skin and a soft glossy lip. “Michelle Obama’s look is clean, polished and simply beautiful,” he told HollywoodLife. “Not only will I miss her as our FLOTUS but so will the rest of world — she is the epitome of grace and a class act.”
Though she was one of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton‘s biggest supporters during the 2016 election, Michelle recently welcomed Melania Trump to the White House to help prepare her for her new role when husband Donald Trump is officially inaugurated in January. And, wearing a navy dress with a pop of color paired with her usual polished blowout, she reminded us just how much we’ll miss her impeccable sense of style.
