The exclusive MECH-X4 video gives a new glimpse at Disney’s new serialized live-action adventure series. A team of unlikely heroes, including one with a superpower that allows him to control machines with his mind, come together to save their city and the world.

“If it has an electric current running through it, he can control it,” Nathaniel Potvin, who plays Ryan, says in the video. Ryan’s new superpower leads him, his friends, and his brother to a huge 150-foot robot. Together, they pilot the robot. They fight monsters and save their city.
“The cool thing about the idea that it takes four of them to make the robot work, it takes four of them to defeat an enemy, is it makes what powers that robot be the brother-brother relationship or the friendships between Ryan, Spyder and Harris,” executive producer Steve Marmel says in the featurette.
Fellow EP Anupam Nigam notes that there are three major questions to answer in the first season: How did Ryan get his powers? Who built a robot for someone specifically with that power? Why is somebody releasing monsters in Bay City?
The series also stars Kamran Lucas, Pearce Joza, and Raymond Alexander Cham Jr. MECH-X4 will debut in an expanded premiere weekend with 4 back-to-back episodes starting November 11 at 8:30 pm ET/PT through Nov. 13 on Disney Channel.
