Brave Mom Heroically Shields Son, 2, From Vicious Dog Attack In Terrifying Video — Watch

This is absolutely horrifying! A brutal dog attack occurred in Anaheim, California when two dogs went after a 2-year-old boy right in front of his home! Luckily his mother courageously stepped in, becoming a human shield, to protect her son from the vicious animals. But that didn’t stop the boy from needing extensive surgery. We can only imagine what was going through this mother’s mind as she courageously used her own body to block two large dogs who were viciously attacking her two-year-old son. The attack, which took place on Nov. 8 in Anaheim, California, according to KTLA news, was captured on video by a surveillance camera on the home, and it is beyond terrifying! The vid shows the mom saving her little boy’s life as the attack went on for five to seven minutes directly outside their house. The incident began when the boy was in his front yard and the two dogs lunged at the tot, who then fell to the ground. His mother then raced to his rescue, grabbing her son and trying to run inside their home to safety. However, she couldn’t find her keys.

The boy’s father and the woman’s husband, Spencer Bishop, was at work at the time of the attack. But he told the news station that he’s seen the surveillance footage and cannot watch it again because it is too shocking. “It was just a constant battle — five to seven minutes of just terror,” Spencer said. “She was screaming and yelling for help and luckily we had two neighbors (nearby). One lady came over with a stick to try and prod them off.”

The little boy was then rushed to the hospital, and is now recovering from his severe injuries. “He has a big laceration in his face, in his leg, he’s had multiple stitches and he had to have plastic surgery on his face,” his father revealed. “There are no words to explain how you feel, unless you have a child and see your child or wife go through something like that. My wife is a hero.”

Fortunately, his wife suffered only minor lacerations and she is also now recovering along with her little one. And we totally agree that she’s a hero! At one point in the video, she can even be seen holding her son high above her head to protect him from the dogs.

The animals were taken into custody after animal control officers arrived on the scene.  An investigation will look into the history of the dogs and whether there are any prior incidents. Depending on the outcome of the investigation, criminal charged may be brought against the owner.
