Meghan Markle Requests Time Off From ‘Suits’ After Prince Harry Confirms Romance

OMG! Meghan Markle has requested time off from filming her TV show ‘Suits’ only days after Prince Harry confirmed they were an item! We hope everything is okay!

Yikes! Only days after Prince Harry, 32, detailed the wave of “abuse and harassment” his new girlfriend has received from haters, Meghan Markle, 35, has reportedly asked for some time off of work, according to reports at Page Six.

Meghan reportedly told her bosses that she would need to skip filming for USA Network’s hit show Suits in Toronto, citing that she has “something important to do,” insiders tell the publication. It’s still uncertain what “something” the actress has to tend to that will prohibit her from being on set, but sources at Page Six suggest that Meghan is potentially meeting with lawyers to help her manage and transition into the newfound fame that comes with dating European royalty and an international icon! “She comes across as just a regular girl,” a said. “She’s stunning in person, but not everyone knew who she was. And she’s everywhere now.”

We definitely can see how  catapulting into the limelight can be hard for anyone who is not used to that level of stardom. And not to mention, in just a short time after her romance to Harry was confirmed, Meghan has already had to endure a lot of public backlash and scrutiny!

Prince Harry was forced to come to his girlfriend’s defense on Nov. 8, penning an unprecedented letter, blasting the Internet trolls and haters who have attacked and harassed Meghan since he started dating her earlier in June 2016. The letter released by Kensington Palace on his behalf, made claims that Meghan and her family have been “hounded” by reporters and even racially targeted. And as a result, Harry has been worried about her safety! This is SO sad!

It is unclear how long Meghan will be taking away from filming as well as the spotlight, but we hope she and Prince Harry can stay strong together amid all of the drama! And hopefully those haters will get the message and back off!
