Oh no! Donald Trump has repeatedly said that he plans to sue the many women who came out accusing him of sexual assault. Now that he will become president, what will happen if he follows through with his promise? A lawyer explains, right here.
Donald Trump, 70, is now the President-Elect of the United States, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s leaving his drama in the past! Donald has insisted that he would sue all of the women who accused him of sexual assault following his infamous “grab them by the p***y” video, and he could certainly choose to pursue that even as president.
Luckily, one attorney will do everything in her power to help. “If he chooses to sue, I will aggressively represent any woman who came forward with a truthful claim of sexual misconduct against Donald Trump for free, and crowd fund our legal fees,” said Atty Lisa Bloom.
So how would Lisa take Donald down in a court of law? “I will also exercise our right to take his deposition, those of his enablers, and subpoena his records,” she explained. “My clients are upset but strong. To all those sickened by this outcome I say: today we grieve, tomorrow we rise.”
As a female lawyer, Lisa is devastated by the decision, much like many Americans. “This is a major blow to feminism,” she cried. “We elected man whose most consistent life’s work was demeaning women, who bragged about sexual assault.” Yikes! We certainly hope that Lisa is not forced to defend the alleged victims because Donald will not file a lawsuit, but it’s comforting to know they have someone to fall back on!
