Following Hillary Clinton’s devastating presidential loss, Miley Cyrus showed her fans just how upset she was by breaking down in tears on video. Now, HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY that she will make an outspoken statement about Donald Trump’s shocking win on ‘The Voice.’ We have the scoop, here.
“Whether it is what she wears or what she says, Miley Cyrus is going to be very vocal on her beliefs during The Voice for the rest of the season,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She is going to be very political in her stances. She wants her contestants to sing songs that go with her mood and the climate of the country and she wants to make a statement now that Donald Trump is president.” Wow.
As we reported earlier, the pop star shared a heartbreaking Instagram video to her fans the day after Election Night, in which she was visibly shaken up and cried. “I’ve been very vocal for my support for everyone besides Donald, and I still think that, in her [Hillary’s] lifetime, she deserves to be the first female president, and that’s what makes me so sad,” she said while fighting tears in the clip. “I wish she had an opportunity because she fought for so long and because I believe her when she says that she loves this country.”
Along with her impassioned video, the “Can’t Be Tamed” songstress also shared an Instagram pic that featured her holding her dog, admitting that despite her sadness, she would give Donald a chance. “If we want Donald to accept us, we must be accepting towards his presidency and his promise to ‘unify’ our country and ‘make America great’,” she wrote. So inspiring, and we can’t wait to see what she says on The Voice.
