Martin Shkreli, 33, wants to prove that he’s a man of his word. The notorious “Pharma Bro” has long been an outspoken supporter of Donald Trump, 70, and he couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of the 2016 presidential election. In Oct., Martin promised that he would share his sole copy of Wu-Tang Clan‘s Once Upon a Time in Shaolin if Donald won and that’s exactly what he did. The popular rap group had only printed one copy of the album, which Martin purchased for $2 million earlier this year. As it was confirmed the Republican candidate would be taking the white house, Martin recorded a live Periscope where he played a few of the tracks.
The pharmaceutical executive, who was arrested in Dec. after allegations of security fraud, taunted his followers when they reached out to him after Donald’s win. When one asked, “where the f–k is the music,” Martin pressed his buttons by responding, “Well you’re not getting sh-t now with this attitude. Better ask nicely. Not releasing until you apologize.” As another Twitter user also pushed him to share the album, the controversial entrepreneur made sure to let everyone know he was still in control. “Listen stupid I need some time. I’m celebrating, b-tches. You wait till I’m ready or i might just damn near change my mind. btfd.”
Despite all the controversy surrounding Donald throughout his campaign trail, Martin continued to show his unwavering support to the now president-elect, even when the infamous Access Hollywood tape made its rounds. Martin defended his language in the hot mic clip, saying, “I’m a guy and most of us talk and think like Trump does to each other.” On a side note, Martin also promised to release snippets from unheard Nirvana and Beatles albums that are in his possession if Donald became president, so one can assume he will deliver — if he feels like it.
