Kim Kardashian’s harrowing robbery in Paris was traumatizing, to the point that it’s reportedly affecting her everyday life. But Kim is allegedly getting help from a therapist and getting better every day! Click through for the details!
“Kim had difficulty sleeping [after the robbery]. She’s been having nightmares and flashbacks. She’s paranoid,” a source told Us Weekly. “She’s talked to a therapist every day since she’s been back in LA, via phone, Skype, or in person.”
That’s great that she’s getting help! It’s completely understandable that Kim is reportedly having problems; she was bound, gagged, and held at gunpoint by five masked men who posed as police officers to get into her hotel room at the beginning of October. The assailants threw Kim in the bathroom of her Parisian hotel room, and stole millions of dollars worth of jewelry, including her $4.5 million engagement ring. It was a nightmare that has followed her home.
But talking to the therapist has reportedly helped Kim, according to the source! “She is doing better than she was,” the source told Us. “It’s important for her to start healing and improve the anxiety she still suffers day to day.”
Good for her! Kim is making other changes to help her feel safe, and finally get back to her normal life. She fired her bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, and hired a new team to protect her. Pascal was with her in Paris, but was out with her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, 37, when the robbery occurred. There reportedly wasn’t any bad blood between the family and Pascal. Kim reportedly just needed a new start.
She’s slowly coming out of her shell, too. Kim’s first public sighting in Los Angeles after the attack in early October was at Kanye’s concert. She was spotted at little sis Kendall Jenner‘s 21st birthday party at Catch on November 2, as well, and looked like she was having a blast!
