It’s a somber day for Hillary Clinton, yet she still looked perfectly put together and professional as she addressed the nation in her moving concession speech, all while rocking her go-to style signature: a polished pantsuit.
After an emotional and shocking election night, Hillary Clinton, 69, addressed the crowd in a moving concession speech in NYC on Nov. 9 where she looked beyond chic for her appearance. We were hoping to see the former presidential nominee step out on Nov. 8 at her election party in NYC, however, that wasn’t the case — but when she did she step out for her speech she, of course, dressed the part in her outfit — it was tailored to perfection and we would expect nothing less from Hillary.
Tim Kaine announced Hillary and shared kind words about her passion and character. The audience erupted in cheers as she approached the podium in a purple blouse and black pantsuit. “I am so sorry we did not win this election,” she said. Her husband, Bill Clinton, wore a purple tie which matched Hillary’s outfit.
When it comes to her personal sense of style, the pantsuit is Hillary’s silhouette of choice — in fact, she even wore a slew of versions while on the campaign trail, even rocking red, white, and blue Ralph Lauren silhouettes at each of the debates. When we saw Hillary on Nov. 8 she was hopeful and gracious when she stepped out at the polls, accompanied by her husband, Bill. The candidate looked cool and casual in her Ralph Lauren leather blazer, serving up an edgy, unexpected twist on the traditional silhouette. Even when she sports separates she often sticks to solid hues and structured styles — and she always looks great! Her latest look was no exception.
