#StillWithHer! Distraught by Hillary Clinton’s election loss, famous friends like Katy Perry and Beyonce are showering their leading lady with ‘gifts and love’ to help cushion the unexpected blow. See which other celebs have reached out to comfort her!
As more and more celebrities share their election results upsets, there are a special few who have reached out to Hillary Clinton, 69, in a more personal way. “Hillary may have lost the election but she hasn’t lost any of her celebrity supporters,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Jay Z and Beyonce, Katy Perry, Lena Dunham, and Jamie King are just a few of the stars that are showering her in gifts and love right now.”
Most of us consider Hillary to be powerful leader, but like anyone, she has her moments of vulnerability. The US was shocked to hear that Hillary decided not to speak on Election Night as Donald Trump votes continued trickling in. We’d hate to think Hillary was crying backstage at the Democrats NYC headquarters, but surely she must have been very upset — and confused!
Meanwhile, less than two miles away, Donald’s headquarters turned into one huge party, fit with a cash-only bar and overpriced cocktails.
Campaign manager John Podesta came out on stage to deliver to shocking news as fans cried their hearts out. “We can wait a little longer, can’t we?,” he asked the weeping crowd as some states were too close to call that night. The Presidential nominee’s silence didn’t last too long, though, as she delivered her concession speech early on Nov. 9. Hillary’s speech was honest and direct, as she apologized to many Americans for the upsetting results. Barack Obama also delivered a positive message, urging us to see the silver lining and at least give Donald a chance to prove himself. One chance? Ok, we’ll give him ONE.
HollywoodLifers, what kind and loving messages would YOU share with Hillary at this time?
