This is so sad. 50 Cent is the latest celeb to express his emotion and frustration about the 2016 election outcome. He compared the presidential campaign of Donald Trump, as well as his victory over Hillary Clinton to 9/11, and it’s chilling to see. Click to view the pic.
50 Cent, 41, didn’t hold back the day after Donald Trump, 70, beat Hillary Clinton, 69, in the Nov. 8 election. He took to Instagram to let his 12 million followers know exactly how he feels, and it really hit hard. In a single post, he shook viewers to the core with a short, but powerful quote — “worst day in America 9/11 – 2nd worst day in America 11/9”.
50’s Instagram clearly showed which opponent he was rooting for in the nail-biting race to the White House, and it obviously wasn’t Donald. He captioned the moving photo, “No caption needed,” feeling as though it told the message he intended, loud and clear. The rapper’s candid post has garnered over 51,000 likes and almost 700 comments. There were Instagram users who agreed with him, and others who supported Trump. The divide within the comments was definitely difficult to read.
This isn’t the first emotional social media stance to shake the internet since Donald ‘s presidential victory. 50 joins many celebs who have taken to Instagram, Twitter and Facebook to voice their disappointment about the election outcome. Stars like Snoop Dogg, 45, Lady Gaga, 30, Nina Dobrev, 27, and many more haven’t been shy about voicing their protest, sadness and strong opinions on the 2016 election. Celebs even vowed to move to Canada and out of the country if they had to live under the rule of Donald. Wow.
Right now, there is a nation divided. With Nov. 8 being one of the most shocking days in history, hopefully the sadness can surpass and the American people will be able to turn their disappoint into powerful strength.
