Hailey Baldwin rocked a gorgeous, neutral makeup look at the CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund dinner on Nov. 7 in New York City. Get her exact beauty look below, with tips from her makeup artist!
Makeup artist Robert Sesnek spoke to HollywoodLife.com about the inspiration for Hailey’s makeup: “When I saw the dress we both agreed to do a more subtly defined makeup with the textures and colors of the dress and up the arms.”
Here are the exact steps from Robert:
“I always prep the skin first with La Mer The Mist to really wake up the skin. Also, I find the moisturizer sinks into the skin better on damp –rather than dry –skin. I used the original Creme De La Mer over the face and then La Mer The Eye Balm around the eyes to hydrate. I started with Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in colors 5.5 in the center of face and 7 around the perimeter of face for added depth. Using Armani Fluid Sheer in #6 we punched up the cheek color for a healthy flush that looks lit from within. Also, I used this around the temples and on the bridge of the nose, so the healthy color looked uniform. I then added NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Honey around the eyes and Custard in any places that pulled a little redness, like the nostrils, any blemishes and around the mouth. Everything was set with YSL LOOSE POWDER #3. I then used Chanel Les Beige Bronzer around the hairline and perimeter of face.
Next was eyes — I started with Anastasia Master Palette by Mario using color “Kim” at the lash line and blended outward and used the color “Violeta” in the crease and lined the lash line. Then curled lashes with Shu Uemura Lash Curler and added several coats of L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black. We did not add any false or individual lashes to this look, which was a first with Hailey. While the mascara was drying, I started on eyebrows using Anastasia Brow Wiz in Blondes and set with Anastasia Brow powder Duo in Blonde. I set it with Anastasia clear Brow Gel. I used Hailey‘s own Modelco Cosmetics On The Glow Spotlight for a little highlight in the tear ducts, bridge of nose and cupid’s bow.
Finally, for lips, we used a mixture of two colors from the Kylie Cosmetics Koko Kollection — OKURRR and Damn Gina — for the perfect lip that was natural with a little punch.”
