Donald Trump made one of his last campaign stops in New Hampshire, Nov. 7, and had a ‘big’ surprise. Donald claimed he had Tom Brady’s vote! He even said Tom called him to reveal the news! If that wasn’t enough, Trump claimed Patriots coach, Bill Belichick wrote him a letter of support! BUT, there seems to be ONE big hole in his story…
Donald Trump, 70, really pulled out all the stops to try and win over the hearts of Patriots fanatics in New Hampshire, Nov. 7. He announced that New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady, 39, and the team’s coach, Bill Belichick, 64, are all for his campaign!
On the eve of Election Day, Donald claimed to a crowd of roughly 11,000 supporters, per CNN, that Tom called him earlier that day to tell him he voted for him. The GOP nominee even told the crowd that Tom gave him permission to share the news. “Two people I have a lot of respect for… because they’re so important to the area, I thought I would give you this information. They’ve told me I can do it,” Donald said. “Tom Brady… great friend of mine… he called today [Nov. 7] and he said, ‘Donald I support you. You’re my friend, and I voted for you.'” The people went wild with applause and cheers as soon as they heard Tom’s name.
But, there was a major hole in Donald’s extreme story. According to CNN, Tom reportedly admitted in an interview Monday, Nov. 7, that he did not vote yet, and planned to vote later that day or on “super Tuesday.” Tom apparently said, “No, I haven’t voted yet,” on WEEI Boston’s “Kirk & Callahan Show.” The news outlet said that unless Tom mailed in an absentee ballot to vote, he could not have cast his vote early on Nov. 7. The opportunity to vote early, ended Friday, Nov. 4 in Massachusetts. So, could this be a lie?
Donald began the second part of his story, saying he had a ton of “respect” for this “champion,” who is very close with Tom. He was referring to Bill. “I was in the plane and they handed me a letter,” Donald claimed. “It was from Coach Bill Belichick, and he wrote me the most beautiful letter. It was only two hours ago. So we called [Bill] back, and said, ‘Do you think that Mr. Trump can read that letter to the people of New Hampshire?’ He said, ‘Absolutely.'” But, Donald claimed Bill replied, telling him “not” to read the original letter, and that he would draft up a new one, a “different” one.
Donald said he figured the new letter would have “all of the good things” removed from it, because that’s what “gutless people do.” However, he said Bill is “the opposite.” In fact, the new letter was “much better,” and “stronger.” Donald read the entire letter to the crowd. “Congratulations on a tremendous campaign. Your leadership is amazing,” Bill allegedly wrote. “You’ve proved to be the ultimate competitor and fighter… Hopefully tomorrow’s election results will give the opportunity to make America great again.” Wow…
Bill’s apparent letter was written and signed by him personally, according to Donald. The crowd roared with excitement after hearing the news that he teased on Twitter before arriving in New Hampshire.
Big news to share in New Hampshire tonight! Polls looking great! See you soon.

While the crowd in Manchester seemed very pleased with Donald’s big news, he still has other battleground states to win over, like Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and more. As Election Day continues on, both candidates, Donald and Hillary Clinton, 69, have been traveling from state to state in hopes of crossing over the finish line to win the Presidency.
