Lily Collins, 27, celebrated a major moment at the HFAs on Nov. 6 as she was presented with the New Hollywood Award. Dressed in a cream and black cutout dress by David Koma, Lily continued her mix of classic Hollywood with a modern edge with her hair and makeup look.
Recently going back to her dark bob after rocking a bright maroon shade, Lily chose to wear her hair in Old Hollywood waves. Mara Roszak was behind the look, creating a deep side part in Lily’s hair before styling it into glossy, volumized curls.
For her makeup, Molly R. Stern worked with Lancome (Lily is an ambassador for the brand) to add a bit of edge to her otherwise classic look. Giving her a traditional wine colored lip, Molly started by lining and filling Lily’s lips with the Lancome Le Lipstique Lip Liner in Sheer Chocolate before applying the Lancome L’Absolu Rouge in 359 Hypnotique at the center of her lips for a sheer wash of color.
Adding major drama to her eyes, Molly went for a bold burgundy smokey look as opposed to the usual neutral brown or bronze shades. To get the look, Molly started by layering the Lancome Color Design Eyeshadows in Fashion Label and Ruby Velvet on Lily’s lids. To really make Lily’s eyes pop, Molly lined the base of her lash line with the Lancome Grandiose Liner in Matte Noir and curled her lashes before applying two coats of the Lancome Grandiose Extreme Mascara.
