Alex ran right into Lydia on last week’s episode of ‘Quantico,’ and now she has to decide if she should trust her. Plus, Shelby and Leon’s relationship goes to a whole new level.
Inside the crisis zone, the terrorists shuffle Harry, Leon, Ryan, Raina and the rest of the hostages into a room. Raina realizes that the terrorists are planning something. That’s the reason the terrorists are keeping them around.
In the present, Alex wakes up after a dream about Simon. Gosh, Quantico’s just not the same without him. She goes to meet with Ryan, Shelby, and Raina to talk about the next plan of attack. Shelby and Raina push Alex and Ryan to find out who’s possibly being recruited into the AIC. Raina’s not messing around, while Shelby is messing around with Leon!
Alex is suspicious of Lydia and how she got out of the hostages’ clutches. During their walk through Lower Manhattan, Lydia reveals that the phone contains a code to a safe full of encrypted computer drives that are filled with decades worth of highly classified information. The terrorists already have the drives. Lydia tells Alex they have to destroy them before the terrorists figure out a way to decrypt them.
Alex struggles with whether or not to trust Lydia. After all, she just showed up out of nowhere. But when Lydia takes down a terrorists and hands the gun over, Alex decides to trust her gut. As they continue on, the girls reveal some very interesting information about what happened at The Farm. Alex was kicked out/thrown out of The Farm. Ryan rose through the ranks fast after Alex left. Oh, and Alex must have done something that got Owen put in jail. Geez.
At The Farm, the team has to decide whether or not to authorize a drone strike. And it’s not just a test. It’s real. Alex gets flustered, memories of Simon flooding back on the anniversary of his death. The assignment opens a lot of wounds for the recruits. Even though the group decides against authorizing the drone strike, Owen OKs it anyway.
Alex and Lydia find the drives, and Alex goes in to destroy them. Lydia stops her. A remote control for the collars falls out of Lydia’s pocket, and she reveals she stole it off the terrorist she killed. Liessss. She tells Alex that she had to convince her that she was a victim. They go at it. Lydia knocks Alex out and ties her up. Before leaving, she sets off the alarm, making sure the CLF knows where to find Alex.
While Sebastian, Harry, Dayana, and the rest of the crew fight over who to trust, the terrorists take Leigh. They bring her back after asking her a few questions and set off her collar. She’s nearly decapitated in front of everyone. RIP, Leigh. They take Dayana and Raina away after Leigh’s shocking death.
The terrorists bring who we think is Raina into another room, but it’s actually Nimah. “You were right: Dayana may be one of them,” Nimah says! Raina is tied up to a chair in the next room over! I’m so confused, but this is crazy! When and how did Raina and Nimah switch? Has Nimah gone bad?!
