One of America’s funniest comedians is throwing his support behind Hillary Clinton in an epic way! Will Ferrell made a hilarious video asking young voters to hit the polls on Nov. 8 and vote for Hillary. Watch for yourself, right here!
Will Ferrell, 49, wants millennials to vote for Hillary Clinton, 68, and he’s trying to convince us by speaking our language… poorly. Will had us in stitches with a new video released by the Clinton campaign on Nov. 4, where he starts off chatting with his young “squad,” and then begins peer pressuring fans to not be “basic.”
“Let’s all put down our Snapchat, Tinder, Instagram,” he says while fiddling with an old flip phone (remember those?), “and other assorted app-based technology for a minute so we can keep it 100.” Meanwhile, he’s wearing a “Nasty Woman” t-shirt. So great!
Will reveals that everyone’s voting record is actually public, which means that people can search you and find our if you voted. Therefore, “if you don’t vote, everyone might find out that you’re the opposite of on-fleek,” says Will with a serious expression. He says that the only way to avoid a “serious case of FOMO” is to hit the polls on Nov. 8. Check out the video for yourself, and get ready to chuckle.
Will isn’t the only star supporting Hillary. As the election gets closer (it’s less than a week away!), more and more celebs are coming out of the woodwork to urge people to vote, especially young people. On Nov. 4, Jay Z will play a campaign concert at a rally in Cleveland, Ohio, to try to get more youngins to support Chillary. Not to mention Katy Perry and Beyonce are also rumored to be performing on the big night!
