We’re dying for a Drake and Taylor Swift collaboration, and although a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that they’re making it happen, we wanted to know if they’re going to diss allllll of the haters on the new track or not! Here’s the answer!
“Drake and Taylor [Swift] do not want to do a diss track on Kanye [West] or any of their exes,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Aw man! But they’re both so good at it! So why are they trying to keep it civil on the upcoming joint track? “They have been enjoying the early planning stages of collaborating on a track and the one thing they have already discussed and joked about is that they want the song to be fun and positive without going after anyone.”
Well if it isn’t going to be a diss track that they’re making, what WILL it be? “The other thing they have agreed on is, when they are ready to go in the studio, they want to come out a club banger and a hit, for sure,” said the insider. Considering that Taylor is at the top of the pop game and Drake has been slaying the hip hop charts, we really don’t think that will be a problem!
We’re a little surprised that Tay and Drake didn’t wanrt to take this epic opportunity to diss Kanye, or Tom Hiddleston, or Calvin Harris (who recently dissed Tay in his new “My Way” video), or Rihanna, or ANYONE ELSE. Especially since neither has been a stranger to diss tracks in the past. Many people believe that “Bad Blood” was a slight at Katy Perry, and Drake made not one but TWO clap back rhymes for Meek Mill. Oh well, we’re sure it’ll still be killer!
