As you can see from the pics, Michigan Ave was literally a sea of fans, all wearing jerseys and waving signs showing love to their favorite team. The players showed them as much love back, waving and ramping up the crowd with roaring cheers! Kris had the honor of wearing an extra accessory to the parade: the WWE World championship belt made special for the team! Now that’s the bling! Anthony Rizzo shared a short video, just as he and his boys rolled out into the parade, looking as pumped as they were doing the actual games:
Along with the parade celebrations, the Chicago river is being dyed a beautiful shade of deep blue, the lions outside the the Art Institute wore massive Cubs caps, and all over town, signs declaring, ‘Goodbye Someday’ dominate windows of stores and cars. Plus, schools were actually closed to allow families to attend the parade together! How about that! A lot of pride in the Windy City today!
