OMG! First Beyonce, and now Taylor Swift? Taylor may be making a special appearance at the CMA Awards on November 2, according to a new report! Will she be performing with Little Big Town?
We can’t even handle this! Taylor Swift, 26, could be the latest superstar to make a surprise appearance at the Country Music Association Awards on November 2, according to a source who spoke to US Weekly. Taylor was spotted in Nashville that same afternoon, and it’s totally possible that she could be stopping by for the big night!
It was revealed the same day as the 2016 CMAs that Taylor actually wrote Little Big Town‘s new song “Better Man“, which they are performing at the show. It’s totally possible that Taylor could be taking the stage with them in a special surprise performance! Fingers crossed! Taylor, who lives in Nashville, first attended the CMAs in 2007 when her music was still strictly country, and won the New Artist award! She’s been nominated for a whopping 25 CMA Awards throughout her career, including Female Vocalist of the Year in 2014 (she lost to Miranda Lambert). This would be her triumphant return!
The Taylor rumor comes shortly after it was revealed that Beyonce will be opening the CMA Awards with the Dixie Chicks! What they’ll be performing is still unknown, but it’s likely that they’ll be crushing Bey’s Lemonade hit “Daddy Lessons”, an amazing song with a country twang. The Dixie Chicks covered it on their Summer 2016 tour because they love it so much. With Taylor now (hopefully) dropping in for an appearance with Little Big Town, it’s clear that the CMA Awards are going to be the biggest night of 2016!
