The country group were standing in an open field set with wind blowing in their hair, and it was the perfect setting for their somber performance. Although they slowed down the awards show, they certainly had the crowd riled up!
Karen, who led the group’s insane vocals put on a touching performance, dressed in a navy blue gown. She hit every single note, and we couldn’t keep our eyes off her stunning appearance. Kimberly, who flawlessly joined her, was just as gorgeous in a pale pink, pleated gown. Her signature, bouncy curls were the perfect touch to her pretty look!
We can’t forget the men of the group — Jimmy and Philip! They looked dapper in sleek, dark suits, with shade of black, grey and maroon. And we have to say, this group knows how to put on a jaw-dropping performance! If that wasn’t enough, they took home the well deserved, Group of the Year CMA award!
Little Big Town’s explosive performance comes right after the group revealed that Taylor was the lyrical genius behind their hit, “Better Man.” They confirmed the epic news during a Facebook Q&A Nov. 1, saying, “She sent us this song and it was one that was very special to her.” AMAZING!
The track was released Oct. 20, making it ironically perfect timing for Tay to write up a real life hit after her not-so-nice breakup from Calvin Harris, 32. We’re not sure how we didn’t connect the dots that the “Bad Blood” singer was behind the country group’s song. The tune is about finally letting go of a guy after coming to the conclusion that he isn’t good enough for you. SO good!
