It’s finally here — our first official trailer for season two of ‘Fuller House.’ The Tanners are back, along with the Fullers (and yes, the Gibbler gals). This season focuses mostly on holidays, but also has day-to-day things like new romances, a first kiss, and a midlife crisis (here’s looking at you, Danny).
The clans all here. Kimmy (Andrea Barber), D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure) and Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), AKA the wolf pack return for season two with a holiday-based season! In the trailer, we see a lot of that, and a few other big moments — like DJ choosing between her men (even though they now both have ladies), her daughter getting her frrst kiss, and Stephanie falling for A GIBBLER.
“I’m super excited our season this year is very holiday themed,” Cameron previously said on The View teasing the new season. “We have a Halloween show, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve, and lots of family.” We see that in tons of photos from the upcoming season — the premiere titled “Welcome Back.”
This season will also have a lot of fun guest stars. In addition to Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, John Stamos, and Lori Loughlin making returns, New Kids on the Block will also join this season for an episode arc (without Donnie Wahlberg) and Hal Sparks will appear as DJ’s ex, Nelson. We can also expect to meet Joey’s wife Ginger, played by Laura Bell Bundy!
Speaking of exes, we’ll also see DJ struggling to chose between Steve (Scott Weinger) and Matt (John Brotherton), but “she does choose someone” during the season, Candace told us during Fashion Week in NYC. “Half of the [fans] will be, I think it’s pretty split down the center as to who the fans like! They love both guys, but they’re different.”
HollywoodLifers, are you excited about Fuller House? Season two will hit Netflix on Dec. 9.
