What more does ‘Roanoke’ need? Well how about a trusty reporter who knows a thing or two about killers? Enter Lana Winters, the reporter who entered the asylum in ‘American Horror Story’ season two for a story… and had a hard time getting out.
Another crossover in the American Horror Story world. Ryan Murphy gave his Twitter followers a Halloween surprise on Oct. 31, tweeting the following:
Sarah Paulson's ASYLUM ultimate survivor LANA WINTERS returns this season on "AHS: ROANOKE." Happy Halloween!

Yes, that means Sarah Paulson‘s character, who was a reporter in the asylum, will most likely be heading to do a report on Roanoke county. Sarah’s been on every single season of AHS — Billie Dean Howard in Murder House, Lana in Asylum, Cordelia Foxx in Coven, Bette and Dot in Freak Show, and Hypodermic Sally in Hotel.
It seems we’ve already seen quite a bit of crossovers in the series, most recently being Sarah’s Murder House role showing up in Hotel, and Gabourey Sidibe’s Queenie from Coven also showing up on Hotel.
This weekend, Ryan Murphy also revealed at revealed at Entertainment Weekly‘s Popfest on Oct. 30, that he was planning an entire crossover season — but it won’t be next season.”There will be characters from ‘Murder House’ and characters from ‘Coven’ together,” he said.
However, we’re kind of thrilled that it won’t be next season — Connie Britton must come back for Murder House and she’s a little bit busy doing Nashville for CMT this year. Also, Evan Peters better survive this time around.
“I’ve [already] started going to actors from both of the seasons, quietly, saying, ‘I think in this window, if you could fit us in.’ So yeah, it’s fun. It’s weird,” he said. Well if anyone can do weird, it’s Ryan.
HollywoodLifers, do you want to see this crossover? Do you think Sarah could survivor this time around? We’ll have to see!
