The girls of Little Mix aren’t afraid to get a little brutal in their latest song, “You Gotta Not”, which details everything they want in a real man! The song, written by Meghan Trainor, is all about letting guys who want to date them know that they won’t tolerate little boy behavior. No money, no clean laundry, bad hygiene, just totally immature? Bye, boy!
So is this another diss track about Perrie Edwards‘ ex-fiance, Zayn Malik? After hearing the devastating “Shout Out To My Ex”, which is thought to be about Zayn, anything is possible! Just take a look at Perrie’s verse in her new song:
I need a man, a man who can act like a man
So hear me now, I don’t get paid to babysit no one
I’m out here lookin’ for the one to love
Singin’, I need a man, so hear me now
The shade of it all! Even Zayn would have to admit that it’s pretty catchy, even though it seems like he’s being dragged by the band again! Perrie and her bandmates recently released “Shout Out To My Ex”, which calls out their terrible exes for treating them wrong: “I hope she gettin’ better sex, Hope she ain’t fakin’ it like I did, babe”, Perrie sings. Ouch! While they’ve played it a bit coy on whether or not the song is truly about Zayn, the music video employed a total lookalike of the “Pillowtalk” singer. We can’t wait to see who shows up in the “You Gotta Not” video!
