Slay, Bette Midler! The actress completely stole the show during her annual Halloween bash on Oct. 28, by dressing as her ‘Hocus Pocus’ character Winifred Sanderson! Rocking a sky-high orange wig, buck teeth and spooky ensemble, she definitely OWNED the night! See the pic!
Bette Midler, 70, is truly a legend in her own right. So, it comes as no surprise that she managed to surpass all expectations at her annual Hulaween Party in NYC on Oct. 28, by giving fans some major deja-vu! The actress went as her beloved Hocus Pocus character, Winifred Sanderson, for the fun-filled bash located at the Waldorf Astoria. And boy, she did not disappoint. Rocking a prominent orange wig, buck teeth, long painted nails and red lipstick, it’s safe to say she pulled out all the stops! Bette even wore her iconic purple and green robe, making it appear as though she just stepped off the set of the 1993 fantasy film. She got extra playful by striking a pose!

Bette took to Instagram with a Hocus Pocus inspired clip to get the word out, reading, “So you can’t attend @NYRP’s Hulaween 2016, but you still want to help @NYRP & myself reach our goal? Donate here.” The Beaches star was also celebrating the New York Restoration Project that night, a nonprofit that brings public green space to the state’s five boroughs. It certainly was a star-studded affair, considering comedian Kathy Griffin emceed the event while A-list designer Marc Jacobs filled in as the costume contest judge. What a dream team!
Sarah Jessica Parker, who also acted in the Disney flick, revealed earlier this month that she was hopeful about one day reuniting with her evil Salem witch sisters. “I would love that,” she told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. “I think we’ve all been fairly vocal about being very keen but that hasn’t created any ground swell of movement.” However, Bette debunked sequel rumors in Nov. 2015, confirming once again during an interview with Billboard that fans would have to hold tight to the original. “For the life of me, I can’t understand why there’s not a sequel.” We couldn’t agree more!
