Apparently there’s a reason your kids never play with Jay Z, 46, and Beyonce’s daughter, Kanye West! Following the rapper’s rant about his longtime A-list pals, a new report has surfaced giving insight into why there’s tension between Bey and Jay and Kanye and Kim Kardashian, 36.

“Beyonce has never genuinely liked Kim,” an insider tells Page Six. “She’s mostly tolerated her because of their husbands’ friendship and [their] mutual friends, like Jennifer Lopez. She is always a little icy to Kim. The last time they hung out, the minute Beyonce could leave the conversation, she did. they always have lots of awkward pauses. when they speak.”

In case you haven’t been following this feud, it all went public at a recent Yeezy concert, when he explained to the crowd that there would be no “Watch The Throne 2” because of differences over Tidal and Apple. Kanye also went off about how someone (unnamed) didn’t come visit him and Kim after she was robbed in Paris…and it’s not too hard to figure out that Bey and Jay were likely the subjects of his rant.
There’s always seemed to be some tension between these couples, despite Kanye and Jay’s friendship. Who could forget that the music moguls didn’t even show up to Kimye’s wedding in 2014?! They did all hang out after the VMAs in August, though. Meanwhile, Bey’s rep tells Page Six that these allegations about her feelings about Kim are “ridiculous.”
