Megyn Kelly got torn apart by former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich on Oct. 24 for questioning whether or not Donald Trump is a ‘sexual predator.’ While Megyn tried to keep her cool, Newt was all about defending Donald. Check out how Megyn responded right here.
Newt Gingrich, 73, totally came after Megyn Kelly, 45, on Fox News on Oct. 24 for questioning if Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, 70, is a “sexual predator.” Newt even said that the anchor was partially responsible for the media’s “bias” against the candidate, but Megyn clearly disagreed.
“I’m sick and tired of people like you that’s using language that’s inflammatory and not true,” Newt said. “You are fascinated with sex and you don’t care about public policy.” Megyn looked shocked, pointing out that the media can’t just ignore the sexual assault allegations of the 10 women who have come forward against Donald. And good for her, because that’s totally true.
“I’m not fascinated by sex, Mr. Speaker,” Megyn said in her defense. “But I am fascinated by the protection of women and understand what I’m getting in the Oval Office. The poll numbers show us the women in America are very concerned by these allegations.” Newt went on to torment Megyn over how her show has covered the presidential election.
He even went so far as to dare her to say,“Bill Clinton sexual predator,” referencing the former president’s sex scandal in the ’90s. “I just want to hear you say it,” Newt said. “You can take your anger issues and spend some time working on them, Mr. Speaker,” Megyn said at the close of the interview. We have to applaud Megyn for how she handled that situation!
