Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s ugly divorce battle has taken a dramatic turn, and it’s now involving their six kids. Angie and her children were questioned by the FBI for HOURS about Brad’s alleged abuse, according to a shocking new report. We have the details, here.
Brad Pitt, 52, and Angelina Jolie, 41, have been embroiled in a bitter divorce battle since the pair announced the split that shocked the world, and now their six children are involved. Angie and the hunky actor’s six children faced intense questioning by the FBI regarding Brad’s alleged child abuse, according to a new report from Us Weekly. The report claimed that two FBI agents asked the actress and her children about an incident on Sept. 14, in which Brad allegedly got drunk and physical with son Maddox, 15. “The agents wanted a breakdown of everything that happened, from when the plane took off to when it landed,” an insider told the mag. “They’re looking into charges of assault.” Another source told the mag that Angelina “fully cooperated.” Wow.
The news comes a day after TMZ reported that the Department of Child and Family Services widened its investigation to “other incidents” that were witnessed by their children — Maddox, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8. As we previously told you, Brad allegedly got into a verbal and physical confrontation with Maddox during the plane incident, frightening his younger siblings. Since then, two reported supervised meetings have taken place with Brad and the kids, but one was cut short due to Maddox not wanting to be there. So horrible.
Along with the questioning and supervised meetings, Brad has also reportedly taken two drug tests — which came back clean — as part of his and Angie’s temporary custody agreement. Furthermore, according to Us Weekly‘s insider, “neither side wants this to go to court because everything the FBI and DCFS investigated will potentially be made available to the public.” We really hope this is true, especially since Angelina’s been so vocal about wanting to protect her children.
