FINALLY, the NBA is season is here! Forget your plans to go to bed early, because Oct. 25 is going to be a late night! LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony will face off, and Kevin Durant will make his debut with the Golden State Warriors! Find out who’s playing and how to watch!
You’ve waited long enough! The NBA season will start Oct. 25 with the Cleveland Cavaliers hosting the New York Knicks at 7:30 PM EST on TNT. This is an exciting night for LeBron James, 31, and the Cavs. Before the jump ball, he and his team will receive their 2016 rings in an official ceremony celebrating Cleveland’s first-ever championship. This title ended the team’s 52-year stint without a championship, so things could get emotional for the Cavs. However, it could make for an even more exhilarating game because the ceremony will go down right in front of Carmelo Anthony, 32, Derrick Rose, 28, Joakim Noah, 31, and the rest of the Knicks. Talk about a pre-game rile up!
It should be a good start for the Knicks though, since Derrick is back with his team after two weeks. He returns to the court full time after he was found not guilty of rape, Oct. 19, in the civil case made against him by an unidentified woman. We’re sure he’s got his head in the game and is fully ready to kick off the season strong!

Don’t move from the couch after that game wraps, because next up is the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs! The two teams will go head-to-head at 10:30 PM EST on TNT.
Everyone has been waiting for this matchup because it’s an exciting and different time for both teams. Kevin Durant, 28, will make his debut with Steph Curry, 28, and the Warriors, after leaving Oklahoma City Thunder behind. Fans and rivals are anticipating how he will play with his new team, so all eyes will be on Kevin.
However, Steph is always one to watch (duh), as he and the Warriors are fresh off a close NBA championship loss to the Cavs last season. But, it’s pretty safe to say, Steph will most likely be draining 3’s, as he’s done licking his wounds and ready to come out like a powerhouse this season!

Although the Warriors are a strong lock to win tonight, don’t count the spurs out just yet. Yes, they are still adjusting to the loss of Tim Duncan, 40, to retirement, but the team can still pull out a victory with the right strategy. Pau Gasol, 36, will be replacing Tim, and he will try to fill some big shoes with the help of Boris Diaw, 34.
In the midst of it all, we have the Portland Trail Blazers and Utah Jazz! This could be one of the favorites for some fans. The two teams will face each other at 10:00 PM EST. You can get all the action on NBA League Pass online or through your TV. You can also watch the game on live stream RIGHT HERE. If you’re in the Portland area, you can also catch the game via radio on KPOJ 620 AM or KGW (Comcast/Xfinity channel 8, or 708 for HD).
