Alex has infiltrated the CLF and has her work cut out for her to save everyone. Back at The Farm, Alex tries to find out what Owen’s all about. Find out everything that happened on the Oct. 23 episode of ‘Quantico’ now!
Alex has infiltrated the CLF and overhears them talking about cutting the “dead weight.” The terrorists bring Raina in and force her to talk for them. She speaks in a video telling the outside world that the terrorists are willing to exchange the hostages for the delivery of hacker Eric Boyer.
Alex finds her way to Raina. She has deduced that the terrorists only want Raina and the other 100 people with her, not the rest of the hostages in Federal Hall, which includes world leaders. They realize that the terrorists are moving people around so they can switch people in and out. Alex is adamant that the trade of Eric Boyer can’t happen. She want Raina to send a cryptic message to Miranda during the switch.
Miranda and Shelby arrest Eric Boyer when he arrives in New York. Miranda tells Eric that he didn’t live up to his end of the bargain. She says she’s a “representative” of “them.” Is she working with the AIC?! After Eric “agrees” to be the bait, he has a quick chat with Shelby. He apologizes for hacking McGregor Wyatt, but admits there’s some information she needs to read.
Raina reveals to Lydia that Alex is here and alive. She tells Lydia of Alex’s plan, but Lydia’s disagrees with what Alex’s wants. She urges Raina to trust her. She seems a little shady to me. As the exchange happens, Alex watches from afar. The hostages begin to run out to safety. Raina drops the hint, and Miranda plays it cool. Alex fires off a few rounds to let the terrorists know where she is.
Alex and Ryan are starting to suspect that Owen is the one recruiting for the AIC. Because of losing an agent in the past and a bug at The Farm, Miranda warns Alex and Ryan to lay low this week. If they slip up, it could be the difference between life and death.
Ryan gets an envelope from the Department of Justice that contains a key that was part of the Liam O’Connor investigation. He decides not to tell Alex upfront about it. Seriously?! Alex is back at the bottom of the leaderboard once again. She’s about to be a goner. The latest activity is a stress test, and Alex has to really step it up. Owen tells the recruits that they’re going to Langley later, so they’re going to have to get all dressed up.
Alex comes up with a plan at the Langley event to clone Owen’s phone. She makes her move. She starts out awkward at first. He think he’s called her bluff and walks away. Unfortunately, she hasn’t even cloned 50 percent of his phone. Lydia taunts Ryan about the key to the PO Box. He storms off, leaving Alex to finish cloning Owen’s phone on her own.
After the Langley test, Owen and Lydia reveal that they used the weaknesses of the recruits against them. Owen admits that Alex was never at the bottom of the leaderboard after she corners him. He was testing her the whole time. She manages to clone his entire phone in the process.
Later, Ryan confesses to Alex that Owen and Lydia weren’t able to deduce his true weakness. His ultimate weakness is Alex. He says that in order to get the job done and find out who’s in the AIC, he has to pull away from her. If anyone sees how connected he is to Alex, he’s a dead man.
Meanwhile, Owen is trying to uncover who wanted him out of the CIA. Alex and Ryan find the bug, and it’s the last person they expected. It’s Leigh! Shelby takes the hint from Eric about the McGregor Wyatt emails. She has an unread email from Eric about Miranda that reads, “She’s one of them.” After Eric is in the CLF’s grasp, he says, “It wasn’t supposed to go this far.” Then he kills himself. The episodes ends with the rest of the CLF coming for Alex. She’s ready and more badass than ever. Bring it on.
