GOALLLL! Pedro pulled off the impossible and scored a goal in the first 30 seconds of the Chelsea vs. Manchester United game on October 23! It’s seriously unbelievable. Click through to watch after the jump!
Go Pedro, go! This is seriously insane. Pedro, the forward/winger for English football club Chelsea, scored an incredible goal just 30 seconds after starting the game against Manchester United. It was clearly the fastest goal of the Premier League season. Could anyone have scored anything faster than this?
Pedro’s lightning-fast goal against Manchester United was even more gruesome for the opposing team because he used to play for them! Oof! To make matters worse, this was former manager Jose Mourinho‘s return to Stamford Bridge after being let go by the team; this was the worst possibly start he could have ever asked for, and he was clearly unhappy after seeing the epic goal!
Just seconds after starting the match, Jose simply rounded Manchester’s David De Gea, who didn’t even touch the ball, to score the opening goal. Actually, nobody from Man United touched the thing! Damn! His Chelsea teammates were overjoyed, celebrating his insanely quick win with cheers and hugs. Pedro now holds the record for fastest opening goal in the Premier league this season; he managed to beat out Burnley’s striker Sam Vokes‘ two-minute goal against Liverpool.
After Pedro’s massive showing, Chelsea managed to double their lead in just 20 minutes, getting another goal through Manchester United’s Gary Cahill. Sorry, Gary! Sadly, it wasn’t all good news for Pedro during this incredible game. After his record-setting goal, the Chelsea winger was booked for his celebrations, and for taking off his jersey. It went a little too far!
