A new 60 Minutes episode featuring Kim Kardashian, 35, will air on Oct. 23, showing her talking about how she can handle fame. The interview was taped shortly before her frightening robbery in Paris, when she seemed to not have a care in the world. In the teaser clip, Bill Whitaker asked what it was like being so exposed and successful, to which she responded, “There are pitfalls, lack of privacy, loss of privacy, and that’s not for everyone.” The reality star can also be seen talking about the pitfalls of fame, explaining that it doesn’t phase her. “For me, I can handle it.”

At one point, Kim is asked if the she would exist without social media. She explains, “Not in this way. I totally attribute my career to social media.” Fans of the reality star have been dying to know how she’s doing, since she’s gone radio silent after the haunting experience of being bound, gagged and robbed of $10 million worth of jewelry on Oct. 3. Even though she just turned 36-years-old on Oct. 21, she didn’t post any of her usual super-sexy celebratory pics, but her family members still shared loving posts on her behalf. Kim’s definitely been leading a more low-key life these days, now constantly surrounding her self with a team of beefy security guards.
In Kim’s full 60 Minutes interview, she also slams haters who claim that she doesn’t have talent. She explained, “It is a talent to have a brand that’s really successful off of getting people to like you for you.” Bill adds how she has literally created an empire, with a staggering net worth of $100 million. Agreeing, she says, “So I would think that has to have some type of talent.” We really hope Kim feels better soon!
