Donald Trump vowed during a campaign event on October 22 that he will sue every woman who has come forward and accused him of sexual assault and harassment. The GOP presidential candidate said he’ll take legal action against the ‘liars’ once ‘the election is over.’
Donald Trump, 70, held a private, invite-only rally in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on October 22, and revealed that he was “looking forward” to seeking serious legal action against the 10 women who have accused him of sexual assault and inappropriate behavior this election. The plan to sue the accusers is apparently part of the outline of his first 100 days in office.
“Every woman lied when they came forward to hurt my campaign. Total fabrication,” the Republican presidential nominee said at the Eisenhower Hotel in Gettysburg. “The [alleged] events never happened. Never. All of these liars will be sued after the election is over.”
Ten women have come forward to accuse Trump of some form of sexual assault or harassment within the few weeks since the 2005 tape emerged in which he engaged in a disgusting conversation with Billy Bush, 43, that degraded women. Trump has vehemently denied horrifying comments, which included descriptions of alleged sexual assault and various sexist insults. In some cases, he’s shot himself in the foot and argued that the women aren’t attractive enough for him to want to assault. Yikes.
Trump also said in his Gettysburg speech that he believed Hillary Clinton‘s camp orchestrated the tape’s leaking, as well as the women launching the “false” accusations. It’s another attempt for Trump to say that the election is rigged against him. He said that “these liars” told their stories of alleged sexual assault with “virtually no fact-checking whatsoever.”
“We’ll find out about their involvement at a later date through litigation,” he told the crowd. “I’m looking so forward to doing that.”
