It’s easy to let ego get in the way of business, but Jay Z is thinking twice before striking back. Turns out, Hova ‘can’t afford’ a nasty feud with Kanye West right now, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned. Read on to find out why!
Jay Z, 46, isn’t exactly taking the high road on this Kanye West, 39, beef, but he is choosing the more financially responsible route! “Jay Z is not planning on firing back at Kanye West, at least not publicly, because Jay only makes decisions that benefit him financially,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Above everything else, Jay Z is a businessman. Starting a war with his long-time friend, business partner, and fellow rapper can only cause financial problems.”
Jay Z has done very well for himself because of his passion for trying different things. On top of his successful music career, the “Big Pimpin'” rapper is the current owner of Tidal, and has invested in brands like Reebok and Budweiser. His network is approximated at $1 BILLION, but rival Kanye isn’t lagging that far behind. The “Famous” hip-hop star is on the fast track to immense success, and already has a $145 million cushion underneath him. If these two icons really wanted to take their feud one step further, it would cost them both a lot of money.
“Jay can’t afford to make Kanye any angrier,” the source continues. “Instead, if Jay says anything anytime soon, it will be to make peace, spread some love to Kanye and Kim and to squash the beef before it gets out of hand.” If you’re shocked by their sudden feud, let us remind you that they’ve butted heads in the past over multiple business deals, like their Watch The Throne album and the Tidal vs. Apple rivalry. Now, Kanye is pissed that Jay Z and Beyonce didn’t visit Kim Kardashian after the robbery. When will it end?
HollywoodLifers, do you think Jay Z will fire back at Kanye West soon?
