Halloween came early when Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers took the podium on Oct. 20, wearing the same sweater seen on The Dude in the cult classic ‘The Big Lebowski’! Fresh off a 26-10 win against the Chicago Bears, Rodgers addressed media, but we’re more excited that he brought out his inner Jeff Bridges. Check out the pics here!
Aaron Rodgers, 32, wore one very familiar garment during a postgame press conference, making Big Lebowski fans do a double-take. Cue the glorious memes:

The cardigan, also known as Pendleton‘s The Original Westerley sweater, has its own following, and it’s awesome to see a star athlete like Aaron let his movie buffness shine.
Aaron is actually a longtime fan of the 1989 Coen brothers film — he’s been spotted wearing Big Lebowski t-shirts in the locker room, and is always quick with a quote from the movie. Per ESPN, when asked about his sweater by text message, Rodgers replied simply, “The Dude abides.” Amazing.
Sweaters aside, Aaron played an amazing game. Despite the fact that he hasn’t exactly been playing to his full potential lately, he certainly turned the tables with this one. Aaron threw 56 times — the second highest number of his career — and made the most completions (39) in a single Packers game ever. Seems like he used this game to get out of his rut…and I think we can assume he enjoyed a celebratory cigar at the end of the evening.
HollywoodLifers, do you think it’s funny that Aaron channeled The Dude last night? How great would it be if he decided to go all-out and dress up as the character on Halloween?
