For the first time since Brad Pitt allegedly got physical with his son, Maddox, on a private plane, the two finally saw each other face-to-face, according to a new report. After more than a month apart, Brad and Maddox’s reported reunion went down on Oct. 19.
With Brad Pitt, 52, being investigated by the Department of Child and Family Services for alleged child abuse, he’s been following all the rules when it comes to seeing his kids amidst his divorce from Angelina Jolie, 42. The alleged plane incident, during which the actor reportedly got physically abusive with the pair’s oldest child, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 15, went down on Sept. 14, and Brad and Maddox didn’t have a face-to-face meeting until Oct. 19, according to TMZ.
As has been outlined in Brad and Angelina’s temporary custody arrangement, a therapist was present for the reunion. The site reports that the father-son duo was actually supposed to meet up sooner, but the therapist assigned to the case just felt the timing wasn’t right until Wednesday.
Brad reunited with his other five kids, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, Vivienne and Knox, 8, on Oct. 8, and has reportedly seen them a second time, as well. Meanwhile, Oct. 20 marks the end of the pair’s temporary agreement, and the therapist is now expected to decide what the best course of action is in terms of custody.
In her divorce documents, Angelina asked for sole physical custody of all six kids, but Brad is cooperating and doing whatever it takes to make sure that doesn’t happen. He has denied ever being physical with his children, including Maddox, although sources say he did admit to “putting his hands on” the 15-year-old during the fight that got “out of control” on the. plane.
HollywoodLifers, are you shocked it took this long for Maddox and Brad to see each other? Do you think their relationship is ruined?
