I don’t know about you but these presidential debates STRESS ME OUT. The third and final debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump is on October 19. Here are some ideas to help you de-stress after the tension-filled 90 minutes.
This election is coming down to the wire, and Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are not going to hold back at the final Presidential Debate on October 19.
No matter who you support, chances are your blood will be boiling and it will be hard for you to sleep after the candidates face off. Here are a few recommendations to calm yourself down after the debate.
Dr Teal’s Detoxify & Energize with Ginger & Clay Epsom Salt Bath. This will soothe your mind and body, reliving muscle tension and relaxing you with its calming properties.
Avalon Organics Wrinkle Therapy Collection — Night Cream. I make a LOT of wild facial expressions — this cream makes sure the lines don’t permanently stay on my face. It’s actually clinically proven, too — the brand claims that “82% of users reported their skin texture improved and 86% of users reported their skin looked healthier after 4 weeks of daily use.”
Light a candle. Carole Shashona has a meditation candle with a “purifying” scent composed of wild sage, cedar wood, lavender, and lemon — the rejuvenating and cleansing fragrance will ease your mind.
Instant Detox Mask instantly draws out gunk and dirt, leaving your skin revitalized and glowing, banishing the signs you were up all night thinking about global warming.
Pretend like you’re at the spa with Everyone Aromatherapy Pure Essential Oils. I especially love the peppermint and lavender scents. You can add a few drops to a bottle of water for a lovely home spray!
When all else fails, make the debate a fun drinking game. Even thought it’s technically fall, the weather in NYC has been super warm lately, so I’m still drinking my summer go-to: Wolffer’s Summer in a Bottle Rosé 2015 (the prettiest bottle on earth). If you’re not into wine, try Truly Spiked and Sparkling. It tastes like sparkling water but has alcohol. Plus, it’s only 100 calories, so there is no guilt.
Once you hit the hay, fight wrinkles and hair frizz with a satin pillow case and eye mask. I like the Iluminage Skin Rejuvenating Pillowcase and the Slipsilk Sleep Mask (I even have my husband hooked on this eye mask)!
HollywoodLifers, are you watching? Will you de-stress with these beauty products after the debate?
