Amy Schumer feels sorry that she joked about Donald Trump — NOT. She was booed by angry fans at a Tampa Bay show on Oct. 16, and at her show in New York City, she followed up with a hilarious ‘open letter’ to Tampa about her comments. The response was the complete opposite of what went down in Florida — WATCH here!
Amy Schumer, 35, made Donald Trump supporters angry at her Tampa Bay, FL show, but the New York City crowd on Oct. 18 was totally on her side. “I’ve written an open letter to Tampa and I’d like to read it tonight,” the comedian began. “Dearest Tampa, I’m sorry you didn’t want me, a comedian who talks about what she believes in, to mention the biggest thing going on in our country right now. How could I think it was OK to spend five minutes having a peaceful conversation with someone with different views?” WATCH the full video above!
“After the show, I want you to know that I will go straight to a rehab facility that will teach me how to make all people happy,” Amy added. “Both the rich, entitled, white people who are gonna vote for him and the very poor people — who’ve been tricked into it!” Too good.
Amy ended her “apology” with a repeat of her jabs at Trump, 70. “And Tampa, I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have said that he was an orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster. Shouldn’t have said that. I will never again say that he is an orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster!” Now to sit back and wait for the angry mob over these latest comments…
As we previously told you, audience members stormed out of Amy’s show in Tampa Bay after she called Trump the aforementioned names. If you can’t take the heat, don’t go to a comedy show!
