It all comes down to this — the third and final debate before Election Day. Moderating the evening is Chris Wallace, a notable anchorman who’s made his way around the journalistic block. Here are 5 things to know before Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton battle it out.
1. The man knows his news!
Chris Wallace, 69, has worked in journalism since college when he was just a young man studying at Harvard. His first gig was reporting for Harvard’s radio station, WHRB. He’s had contracts with ABC, NBC, and is currently signed with FOX. NBD.
2. He wheels in the big bucks.
Surely it’s no surprise that a man as hardworking as Chris makes a lot of money. His net worth is estimated at $6 million, and he makes roughly $1 million each year as host of FOX News Sunday. Chris has over FIFTY years of experience in journalism!

3. He wants to be a fly on the wall at the debate.
Chris’ main goal when moderating debates is to let the candidates take center stage. As Chris prepares to face Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton at the University of Nevada, he admits that his role as moderator takes a backseat. “If people say, ‘it was a great debate and I don’t remember you being there,’ I will have done my job,” he stated.
4. Chris has already announced the debate’s hot topics.
Eager to get honest answers out of both Presidential candidates, Chris will be asking specifically about these six subjects — debt/entitlements, immigration, economy, supreme court, foreign hot spots, and fitness to be president. We’d like to see Donald answer the last one appropriately!
5. He’s a family man!
Chris has been married twice, first to Elizabeth Farrell (with whom he has four children — Peter, Megan, Andrew, and Catherine) and now to Lorraine Smothers. Chris and Lorraine share two additional kiddos — Sarah and Remick.
HollywoodLifers, will YOU be watching the third presidential debate on Oct. 19? Do you think Chris will make a good moderator?
