The concierge who was on duty when Kim Kardashian was robbed in Paris is telling all. He’s totally exposed the hotel where she was staying, revealing that it had no working security cameras, a security code that hasn’t been changed in six years and NO ‘proper’ security protocol!
“There was no security at all. It’s a choice,” the Hotel de Pourtales concierge, who is going by Abdulrahman to protect his identity, tells Daily Mail. “The hotel doesn’t mind about security. We told them years and years before, you have to make a camera, you have to put [in place] a security process, about keys. Nothing was locked, there was no proper security there.”
Abdulrahman was the doorman on duty when Kim Kardashian, 35, was robbed at gunpoint on Oct. 3. The robbers reportedly held a gun to his head, too, and forced him to unlock the door to the reality star’s suite. In his interview, he claims that the hotel has ‘no functioning security cameras’ and that security codes haven’t been changed in six years. He even showed Daily Mail an email he reportedly sent to his bosses back in 2010 in which he complains about the “lax security!”
Even now, two weeks after the robbery, the security code at the entrance of the hotel still hasn’t been changed, which the site proved by having someone enter the digits and waltz right inside. Abdulraham says he blames the hotel for what happened to Kim.
Meanwhile, the 35-year-old has been hiding out in her California home over the last several days, and her assistant confirmed on Oct. 17 that Kim’s taking some “much-needed time off.” She’s cancelled her upcoming birthday party, as well.
HollywoodLifers, are you shocked that the hotel didn’t have good security? Do you believe Abdulraham’s story?
