You knew it was coming — it’s not really a scandal, until it’s covered on ‘Family Guy.’ During the Oct. 16 episode, Peter Griffin joined Donald Trump and Billy Bush on that ‘Access Hollywood’ bus that was featured int he now infamous 2005 tape.
“Well it is 2005… everything’s changing!” That’s Peter Griffin’s response to Donald Trump‘s crude comments about Nancy O’Dell‘s body — you know the ones I’m talking about. Just two weeks ago, a video leaked of the presidential nominee speaking with Access Hollywood host at the time, Billy Bush. In it, he admits to trying to pick up Nancy, even though she was married at the time, as was he (with his pregnant wife.)
“Hey, you wanna have some locker room talk” Peter asks Trump in the latest clip. Insert Donald’s comment: “I moved on her actually.” That was even too much for Peter! “Whoa, whoa, that’s not locker room talk! I meant like, ‘good play, good pass,’ that kind of thing.”
I won’t give everythign away – -the video is worth watching, but it does include Peter mocking how cheap Tic Tacs are, saying if Donald’s a billionaire, why can’t he afford better mints? It also ends with Donald struggling to open the bus door. “He can’t open it ’cause of his tiny hands,” Peter says.
Following the tape leak, Donald did release an apology. “I’ve never said I’m a perfect person or pretended to be someone that I’m not. I’ve said things I regret and the words released today in a decade old video are one of them. I said it, I was wrong and I apologize,” he said. “I pledge to be a better man tomorrow and will never ever let you down. This is just a distraction from the real issues we’re facing today.”
Let’s be honest — when Peter Griffin is the mature one in the situation, we have a problem. Watch the skit above then let us know what you thought in the comments.
